Sounds like you are getting things worked out Stacey. Thats a bummer you didn't like the Power Shot, or that it wasn't very POWERFUL... I kinda wanted to try it like that... But I wondered if it would keep the cravings and hunger away. So, reading this book has me more excited... It sounds like doing this protocol is a temporary thing and then you can go back to eating normal foods. I was worried we were going to have to eat like this forever. But he says that once your body is working properly again you should be able to eat whatever you want, and you will just burn what you eat, when you eat, instead of storing it. So I am way excited about that. I don't think I could eat like this forever. I am hoping I will only need to do it through December and not for 4 months, like Donna did.
I think you are right on track Stacey... If Donna lost 60 in 4 months thats 1/2 pound a day too. Which, except for the first week for me, I have been at about the same. 1/2 pound per day. I only have lost 3 & 4 pounds over each of the last 2 weeks. So I was a little disappointed after hearing that we'd lose 1 pound a day, but at least we are going in the right direction.
I am down 20... 25 total with my 5 from the week before. I am at 215 and just dieing to get under 200. I keep thinking its only 2 weeks away, but probably more like 3-4...
I gotta tell you... I am pretty excited about the recipe book. It has tons of recipes... It has an apple thing that I tried... So you mix apple slices with cinnamon and stevia... it was sooooo good. It was like eating the apple pie filling when you get it all mixed together. YUMMY! Tonight I made the chili, with chicken. I haven't tried it yet, but it smells very good! I'll have to let you know how it is...
